Bedelsford School meets the needs of a range of students education needs. We see the progress and well-being of our students as the responsibility of every member of staff within our school by increasing the extent to which disabled pupils can participate in the school’s curriculum, improving the physical environment of the school for the purpose of increasing the extent to which disabled pupils are able to take advantage of education and benefits, facilities or services provided or offered by the school, and improving the delivery to disabled pupils of information which is readily accessible to pupils who are not disabled.

SEND Policy – the SEND Policy sets out the principle and aims of the school’s SEND arrangements and includes the SEN Information Report which outlines the school’s provision for students with SEN. The report is based on: ‘regulation 51 and schedule 1 of the Special Educational Needs and Disability Regulations 2014 and incorporates the requirements specified in section 69 of the Children and Families Act 2014. It is compliant with the Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Code of Practice.
