‘Bedelsford School is a highly positive environment for children and young people to learn and develop, from their individual starting points.   Not a moment of learning time is wasted, with strong tailored, individualised support in lessons, and a varied and motivating package of lunchtime and extracurricular activities……..I received a wonderful warm welcome from all staff (and students), and the effectiveness and high quality of their work was clear on the very helpful tour of the school. Jo Sullivan Lyons (Senior School Improvement Partner AFC)

‘The school is truly ‘outstanding’ indeed and we don’t mean just in the sense of how Ofsted have classified it. Our child’s days at Bedelsford are like a continuous Team around the Child meeting everyday with all the children looked after by the whole team who are there for the individual child’ Parent of Year 7 child

‘I wanted to email to say how I was walking behind a group of pupils and staff from Bedelsford school today and I can’t praise them all highly enough. The way in which a partIcular member of staff was interacting with one of the girls was simply excellent. She was explaining exactly what was happening when they got back to school, talking through the lunchtime choices and using fantastic language. I know the importance of dedicated staff.  This class certainly had that and I am sure it is representative of your school as a whole.’

I just wanted to send an email to say what a fantastic school Bedelsford is. Yesterday’s meeting reinforced what an incredible job you and all the staff do, which is a privilege to see, and I feel like I learn something new every time I visit. ‘ Tom Connor – Senior Educational Psychologist (AFC)

Thank you for an enlightening and heartening visit. As you know, one of our Architect measures is ‘moral purpose’.  I’m completely confident Bedelsford scores an 11 out of 10. You’re all doing such a wonderful job. ‘ Professor Nicholas A. C. Read  – Executive Director, Research & Applied Learning  Kingston University
