Summer Fun for All
Our Summer Fun Day on 21st June was a fantastic success and provided a great opportunity for learning outside of the classroom. The day was organised by the enterprising Busy Birds Sixth Form Department who did a great job in soliciting sponsorship and prizes in advance. Well done to the whole team, who were rightly pleased with the £450 raised by the day.
The Bouncy Castle was a popular attraction on the day and the classes rotated around this, and all the activities, throughout the day. There was also face painting in the Sensory Garden and students were able to choose their favourite animal or motif.
The Sixth Form students were in charge of games which took place in the playgrounds and Outdoor Learning area. These included Spin the wheel, Skittles, Water pistols and a tombola with fabulous prizes that had been donated by a number of local businesses.
Pupils could also strike their best pose in the photo booth and try out their favourite moves in the music booth. There was also a tuck shop selling crisps, sweets and ice cream.
Huge thank you to everyone for their support especially the Friends of Bedelsford School for generously funding several of the activities. All in all it was a fabulous Fun Day!
